Thierry Aubert - DELACON

Additive-Based Strategies for Better Feed Efficiency in Ruminants

Following his graduation in animal production in 1990, Thierry AUBERT worked for INRA to analyze the effect of various factors influencing feed intake during all cycles of lactation. After 2 years of experience in genetics and management of dairy cows (quality of milk, reproduction, diseases, nutrition), Thierry joined CCPA. With CCPA he worked on developing nutrition ratios with feed mill companies, optimizing formula in ruminants, improving performance and finding solutions to improve the sales of concentrates. Since 1998 he particularly organized researches to find new solutions to replace growth promoters in beef cattle and to replace formaldehyde in dairy cows with phytogenic feed additives (PFA). Furthermore his work focused on finding new solutions to prevent acidosis, improving feed efficiency, reducing environment losses and improving quality of milk and meat.
After 13 years with CCPA, he joined Sanders as species leader ruminant. His focus with Sanders was to start use of phytogenic feed additives and to develop a system to analyze milk fatty acids to control diet balance.

Thierry joined DELACON in 2013 as Species Leader Ruminants. Due to his in-depth know-how at ruminant metabolism and physiology as well as market demands of PFAs, he is responsible for the ruminant product division and the support of global sales team.
