Bob obtained his B.S degree in Agricultural Science and M.S. degree in Non-ruminant Nutrition from the University of Illinois, followed by a Ph.D. in Poultry Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. He then spent several years working for a variety of large poultry and swine producers including Central Soya, Cargill, Carroll’s Foods and Jerome Foods. In 1993 he started his own company, Schwartz Consulting Services, Inc., consulting for numerous poultry and agricultural related companies. He has an extensive background in poultry nutrition, feed manufacturing and ingredient purchasing, both domestically and internationally. Bob has traveled to many countries while consulting for Avian Farms and Pureline Genetics and has made over 50 trips to Russia and Ukraine, primarily working for USAPEEC, a joint venture with Elinar Broilers in Russia. He has also specialized in feeding ABF and Organic Broilers, Turkeys and Layers.
